Peter Collins, 1928-2008

Obituary

Peter Collins was born in February 1928 and went to be with the Lord in November.

Peter was very involved with the Reformation Translation Fellowship, which put many good Christian books into Chinese. He also supported the Middle East Reformed Fellowship and Answers in Genesis.

He and his wife Eileen went to Westminster Chapel during the days of Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones and, in more recent years, had attended Cole Abbey Presbyterian Church, Grove Chapel in London, and Christ Church, Bromley.

Peter was an avid reader of EN, and a subscriber and supporter of the newspaper from the beginning.

He was husband to Eileen, and father to Catherine, Michael and Marion. They write: ‘The day of pilgrimage is over and the day of heavenly glory begun through the death and merits of our Lord Jesus Christ’.
