Dear Editor,
Thank you to Nay Dawson (en March 2024, p.2), for daring to reflect rather than carry on for ever in denial, terrifying though it may have been, for being truly honest, and for owning up to personal failures and corporate ones. That takes a lot of courage and integrity.
Reading Nay’s reflections filled me with tears – for the victims, who have no doubt faced untold trauma, but also tears of hope. In this situation, truth is being told and the truth sets free, both victim and perpetrator. It also gives me hope for other situations where truth has yet to be told.
