You report (March issue, p.5) that Kristie Higgs’ appeal concerns ‘unfair dismissal’. This is not correct. There is little doubt that she would have won such a claim. But she withdrew that case and instead claimed on grounds of religious discrimination. This has been partially upheld on appeal; she has now been allowed to appeal on a wider consideration of her claim.
