Your Comment column in November’s en was 99.9% spot-on apart from a paragraph regarding ‘What counts as news?’
It looks as if you are seeking to eliminate any news or picture which contains current items with a bygone age feel to them. There are still many Christian organisations, churches and individuals who perhaps feel happier with the ‘old’ way of doing things. To the reader it seems that your news policy could be ‘out with the old – in with the new’. I am sure this is not intentional but some of the comments about news items and pictures do rather give that impression!
