Re ‘Donald Trump’s legacy’, February the Christian’s test of a government
en, should only be on the basis of its actions. Are authorities ‘God’s ministers for good’? In the administration of power, do they strengthen or weaken respect for God’s moral law? Do they strengthen or weaken the standing of the Christian faith? Do they try to protect Christians? What are the actual accomplishments of an administration, leaving aside the image or even the character of its leaders. As far as individual responsibility is concerned Paul says: ‘Those without God judges (1 Cor. 5:13)’.
