Dear Editor,
Imagine that you receive an anonymous £50k donation for your church’s ministry to those in debt. But later you are told that the money was given by someone whose wealth probably came from a scam that stole others’ retirement savings. Would you still make sure that you ‘do not refuse a good gift from God’?
I don’t understand how Graham Nicholls (en report December p.3) can say that despite ‘justifiable concerns’ about the source of vaccines he still wants us to ‘make sure that we do not refuse a good gift from God’. Is he including the concern that the vaccine may have been grown in a cell culture that came ultimately from aborted children, from cells taken from the body of a victim of murder?
