Introverts and extroverts

Dear en,

I read with interest the article by Rachel Jones, ‘Is this how introverts feel when life is normal?’, in the June issue of en. I was particularly drawn to her paragraph about her introverted friend who finds Sunday morning services draining as she seeks to pour into others Sunday by Sunday in the power of the Spirit ‘because she knows that’s what love looks like’.

I wonder what love really looks like and is, for the introverted? Surely it is not to screw oneself up and attempt to be/do the same as an extrovert? To love as an extrovert does? To operate ‘outside of their natural habitat’ and God-given character? How should an introvert behave rather than conform to what is expected? How should an introvert love? Any thoughts?
