Dear Sir/Madam,

Please reconsider the un-Christ-like, accusing, hectoring tone you permit in articles such as the one on Mindfulness (June en).

Mindfulness is simply a relaxing technique. Accepting how we feel and who we are helps to ease pain and anxiety. It does not replace prayer. It is easier to pray when relaxed, when endorphins are released to ease pain. It is easier for God to guide and to speak to us of matters that may be hindering our relationship with him when we are not feeling crippled by guilt about too many things at once.
