With regard to the Commentary in January issue of en, the world is full of horrific situations and conditions. Tyranny can be experienced behind the supposed safe doors of our homes as well as affecting whole countries. This is the world we live in. John wrote ‘that the whole world is under the control of the evil one’ (1 John 5.19).
Our priority in prayer should follow the instruction Jesus gave his disciples, ‘Your Kingdom come’. There will no peace or true security until the great liberator returns. We are to pray with urgency and tears for his coming to be soon.
