I would like to comment on the feature ‘Spend it, save it, give it’ by Graham Beynon in January en.
This is an thoughtful article which makes many excellent points. But I was puzzled that, in a newspaper which presumably is committed to the authority of Scripture, there is no mention of the clear biblical principle of tithing*, that is giving 10% of our resources to God. There are numerous references in the Old Testament to this practice which is commanded by God, and has not been countermanded in the New Testament.
