Dear readers of en,

As kind and serving church members, many of you probably provide or organise meals for families in your church where a parent is ill, a baby has been born, or they are bereaved.

I highly recommend using the website www.takethemameal.com which makes it very easy to organise a rota which most members can access. You can specify when and where to deliver meals, any allergies, etc., and it ensures the family doesn’t eat lasagne three days running! Once you’ve signed up to supply a meal it even sends you an email reminder the day before you’re due to cook.
