I was encouraged to see the article ‘The Power of Love’ in the July en on the role of the local church in evangelism, but object to the way that door-to-door evangelism and leaflet distribution is dismissed as outmoded.
I wholeheartedly agree that evangelism is as much about listening and observing as it is about declaration, but that can be part of door-to-door evangelism. I fear the author is showing prejudice against a valid form of outreach that still has relevance today.
