It is quite evident that freedom of speech in Britain is being restricted in one way or another today (see en front page November 14).
Believers, and some unbelievers, are aware of this, yet churches still have freedom to display the Scriptures on a notice-board outside their buildings. How long this opportunity will remain in our increasingly secularised society is unknown, but this fact seems to be ignored by many churches. Many activities are advertised, but the display of the Scriptures to all who pass by is so often neglected.
