Repenting of homophobia

Dear Sir,

The Archbishop of Canterbury is reported in the press to urge Christians to repent about their homophobia. A detailed report appeared in the Daily Telegraph on August 29.

I am a Christian who has mercifully been preserved from scandalous sin, but nevertheless I constantly repent and repent deeply about sins of omission and many other sins. But in this instance I have nothing to repent of because I have never persecuted homosexuals. I am sorry to observe that the increasingly powerful homosexual lobby is promoting a campaign against all those who refuse to acclaim their lifestyle. Even though they are only 1% (they claim to be 6%) of the population, they control most of the media.
