Addressing abuse at home

An episode of From Heart to Heart

With several Middle Eastern countries documenting a rise in domestic abuse during the pandemic, SAT-7, a Christian TV station viewed by many who aren’t Christians, addressed this deadly trend.

By speaking out on a taboo issue and helping families manage emotions, it is hoped it will contribute to prevention while offering vital support to victims.

People contacting the relationship counselling show, From Heart to Heart, have been sharing the threats of violence they are facing in their homes. The presenters felt it was therefore the right time to tackle domestic violence, speak out against it, and suggest practical solutions to help families make this time as peaceful as possible.
