Finland: Police overreach?

An MP is facing police action over her mainstream Christian beliefs, it was reported in April.

Päivi Räsänen, a former government minister, faces four separate investigations over her biblical view of sexuality.

She was previously questioned by police in June 2019 after criticising her denomination’s support for an LGBT event. Prosecutors have now opened additional investigations regarding some media interviews she has given.
