People International celebrated 40 years working in wider Central Asia, seeking to reach Muslims with the gospel.
Headline achievements have included: Bible translation work, particularly for Turkmenistan; new churches planted in partnership with the national church; pioneer gospel work in unreached regions; and provision for the equipping and training of national workers.
Central Asia remains the least-reached region with the gospel on Planet Earth. Across this region there are half a billion people, the vast majority of whom have never heard the gospel – or had any chance to do so. The plan for the next five years is all about consolidating and seeking new workers willing to go to Central Asia, where millions pass into eternity each year.
