USA: Curry goes to court

Michael Curry, the man who spoke at the wedding of Harry and Megan in 2018, is taking a bishop to court in April because he won’t permit same-sex marriages in the diocese.

Bishop William Love will be ‘charged’ with an ‘unwillingness to abide’ by a resolution of the Episcopal Church.

Coming before a panel chaired by Bishop Knisely, Love will go on trial almost a year after his ministry was restricted. At the royal wedding, Curry preached: ‘When love is the way, we know that God is the source of us all, and we are brothers and sisters, children of God.’
