9 February was a very important day for Marius and Ruth Bodnariu. After almost three months, for the first time, Marius was allowed to see his sons Matei and Ioan. Until then, only Ruth had permission to see them once a week for two hours.
It was emotional: two hours that Marius had anticipated and waited for impatiently, especially in view of the fact that the visit had been delayed by one week. It was a joyful time for the whole family. Please pray that God will protect the children psychologically and physically.
Prior to Marius’s visit to see the boys, on 22 January, Deputy Mircea Dolha, the vice president of the Chamber of Deputies Committee for Romanians Abroad, led colleagues and Romanian senators on a visit to Norway to discuss the Bodnarius' and other child protection cases with the families and local officials. Dolha was hopeful about the outcome.
