Christian Billboards reach seven million

Bible verses which are displayed on large digital billboards across the UK are prompting requests for Bibles, the man behind the campaign says.

RealHopeNow has been displaying Bible verses on digital billboards for more than 18 months. Verses are shown on 27 large billboards for ten seconds every minute, day and night.

Their combined reach is just over 7 million impacts (a single view by any passing driver and/or passenger) per month. There are currently nine billboards across London and eight in the Midlands, with the rest scattered from the South to the North West of England.

Michael Penfold from RealHopeNow said: ‘Millions of motorists have seen the word of God and the feedback has been most encouraging. There have been a few objections but, he adds, ‘these are outweighed by very positive feedback from Christians who are greatly encouraged by the bold witness, and by seekers who contact us for Bibles, etc’.

The evangelical Christians behind the digital billboards venture are in the process of setting up a charity to manage the ministry.
