The Aber Conference, run by the Evangelical Movement of Wales, is held every August in the Mid Wales seaside town of Aberystwyth. Gareth Davies was there and writes:
‘The highlight of my summer was attending the Aber Conference. Over the last few years, Aber has developed a more family feel but at the same time has not lost its preaching ethos.
‘The whole programme is centred around a morning and evening preaching meeting. The main speaker was Ian Parry who helpfully exhorted us to have a “Big Vision Christianity”. Four messages on “The plan of the Father”, “The glory of the Son”, “The presence of the Spirit” and “The Freedom of the church” spoke into our times. We may feel as Christians that we are marginalised but our God is certainly not!
