Record numbers of children and young people attended this year’s Keswick Convention, the organisers say.
Keswick Ministries has revealed that of the 10,000 attendees this summer, 2,500 were youngsters and teenagers.
Each week of the Convention – the 148th of its kind, with its traditional focus on Scripture, mission, prayer and fellowship – welcomed a different morning speaker for the Bible Readings. In week one, Sam Allberry looked at 1 John, while Jonathan Griffiths (Week 2) unpacked Colossians and Ivor Poobalan (Week 3) spoke on Genesis – but despite the varying Bible passages, all focussed on the theme of Human.
