Around 40 people from the local community went to meet the new pastor of Rochester Baptist Church at a special event – establishing valuable links between locals and the Christian community.
The ‘community meet and greet’ event in April, organised to introduce pastor Luciano Pelosi to the local community, was held at The Moat House Coffee Shop – the community café run by the church in the heart of Rochester.
Guests included local councillors, local school teachers and members and leaders of other local churches. Pelosi, who began his ministry in Rochester last September, talked about his background including his time as pastor at Longheath Church, Croydon. Visitors were also told about the different church activities and events.
