England World Cup football star Bukayo Saka says the Bible is a major part of his life.
His Bible was a gift from his dad which is ‘really special’ to him, he said in a video widely shared on Facebook. The Arsenal player, born in 2001, also revealed that he tries to read it every night before he goes to bed.
‘I’ve learnt a lot from it [and am] still reading it all the time,’ he said. ‘I’m a strong believer in God. Reading this Bible all the time helps me to learn more and more about God.’
He added: ‘I try and take it into my life.’ According to Wikipedia, when asked what he would be if not a footballer, Saka said he would be a basketball player or an actor.
