The Anglican Mission in England (AMiE) has met for the first time as a Convocation since the pandemic.
AMiE – a network of Anglican churches outside the Church of England, and linked to GAFCON – had as its conference theme ‘Thrive.’
Main speaker, Mark Stirling from The Chalmers Institute, helped delegates think about how to thrive as leaders and how to help those they lead to thrive as disciples. He encouraged his hearers to look to the Lord Jesus and be imitators of Christ in the way they love and lead people. Stirling taught from Ephesians and Philippians, emphasising that the root of right living and right leadership is unity with Christ.
