The Anglican Mission in England (AMiE) says it is seeing encouraging signs of growth both in existing churches and in new fellowships joining.

AMiE describes itself as ‘a fellowship of faithful Anglican churches committed to gospel mission’ and is linked to GAFCON, the global movement of Anglicans committed to orthodox views on sexuality.

Tom Hutton of AMiE said: ‘At the start of this year, Bishop Andy Lines (AMiE Convocation Bishop) reminded us from Hosea 11 of the son who was called out of Egypt and in total obedience went to the cross in order to redeem us. We were reminded of the confidence this gives us when facing the challenge of reaching a needy continent with the gospel of Jesus Christ through the work done by local churches.
