Evangelicals watch new Synod unfold –
 as vote glitch revealed

Evangelicals in the Church of England are closely watching how the make-up of the newly-elected General Synod turns out in practice after a crucial vote was completed.

As the results were still coming in, she said there were ‘encouraging indications’ about how evangelicals had performed. She added: ‘Pray for all who are elected to faithfully serve the church for the glory of God and the good of his people.’
