Danny Elliott speaking at a Christmas event at his previous Chessington church

The Crowded House (TCH), Sharrow Vale, Sheffield, has appointed Danny Elliott as pastor.

The induction service was led by the two elders who have led the church for the last 18 months – Piers Miller and Malcolm Savage. Trevor Archer, FIEC London Director and a mentor to Danny, preached.

Malcolm Savage, elder at TCH, said: ‘The whole church is delighted Danny accepted the unanimous call to come and serve as pastor and elder here. We want to make Christ known in Sheffield, and pray that God would use us for that end in the coming years. We also thank God for the many people from other churches who have prayed for us as a church over these last 18 months. We’re astounded by their love for us and praise God for gospel partnership in difficult times, even with those we don’t know.’
