Graham Miller of London City Mission writes:

Are we preaching the word in season and out of season? My friend, Jeremy Marshall, said that he’s never had so many take-ups for one-to-one Bible studies as he had at the beginning of lockdown. One of our missionaries, Olly Sherwood, had so many wanting to study with him that he had to train up extra study leaders. Preach the word in season and out of season.

Recently my elderly neighbour called me in tears. She was so lonely she wanted to die. Despite the lockdown I went to her house and prayed with her. I am a minister of religion and it was ‘essential work’. I have checked with the Faith Minister and this is not only acceptable, it is recommended. After I prayed, we sang some hymns together and she prayed too. Her whole demeanour had changed. We have a great hope to share with our neighbourhoods. Let us not be downhearted, let’s let our lights shine for the Lord will be glorified even in Covid-19.
