Thames Valley Police have partnered with an organisation that promotes a myriad of ‘gender’ identities including Lunagender, Tetrisgender and Puzzlegender.
MyUmbrella.org.uk defines each of the 147 genders, alongside pictures of their separate flags. A significant number have no stable expression from day to day. Synchogender is described as a person who believes their gender identity changes on a regular basis throughout the day, every day.
The Daily Telegraph reported that police forces are not interested in applications from anyone who believes that individuals cannot change biological sex.

Norfolk police told a female applicant her ‘gender critical’ views did not constitute ‘the behaviours expected [of an officer]’ and her application ‘would not be successful’.
In August, civil servants in Northern Ireland were told they could now be disciplined for not using pronouns correctly, even though the person may be switching ‘gender’ daily, or even more frequently.
