Thousands join in prayer

Central Hall Westminster

On 8 September 2018, 2,000 people crowded in for the ‘Day of Prayer for Britain: Brexit, Unity and Reformation’ at Central Hall Westminster. Prayer was bathed in worship. Unwittingly the same date was the day King George VI chose when he called the nation to pray during WWII. God saved us then. He will save us now.

We prayed for unity. We prayed for biblical standards. We prayed for Jesus to rule our land. We were told German business men were praying for us. It was Africans who gave us encouraging words from the Lord.

Repenting and weeping

We repented for our church and nation. We pleaded for biblical male leadership. We wept for fatherless boys on our streets. We prayed for babies in the womb. We sang Land of Hope and Glory. We exalted Jesus as Lord over our land. We bowed before our God who is in control.
