Pastors and wives, past and present

Wooler Evangelical Church in rural north Northumberland marked its 25th anniversary with a series of special services over the first weekend in September.

They provided an opportunity to reflect upon God’s faithfulness in establishing and sustaining the fellowship over 25 years, and to seek his honour and blessing for the future.

The Revd Iver Martin, Principal of Edinburgh Theological Seminary, gave a series of powerful sermons on the life of King Solomon. Contributions were also made by former pastors Joe Simms and David Larmour, by Andy Hunter, FIEC Director for Scotland & the north of England, and Colin Hart, Director of The Christian Institute, with whom the church has close ties.
