Beach, teach and reach

The Tenby team

The two-week-long OAM Tenby beach mission took place during July and August on the sunny Pembrokeshire coast.

Converted through the work of a beach mission, each summer this writer now leads the work, beginning every day with personal and team devotions and prayer times, before leaving for the beach.

Games and Bible

Once all the equipment is set up, families are invited to come and join in the games and activities. A Bible story follows and an invitation to join the Holiday Special in the afternoon. Each morning, a small team go to the town centre, where tracts are given out, team members are interviewed for their testimony and engaging gospel messages are preached. This year, one young woman listened to the preaching at length before coming over to talk. She had recently begun to read the Bible and was hungry to find out more! She was given helpful gospel literature and details of a good church near to her home.
