The 18th South Wales Revival Conference took place during the first week of July. The main speakers were Paul Mallard and Kenneth Stewart.
Paul Mallard, travelling daily from Bath following his wife’s hospitalisation, preached from the Psalms: ‘Meeting God in the Praises of His People’. Kenneth Stewart’s four talks formed a mini-series: ‘Living for Christ in Non-Revival Times: Glasgow’. He spoke on the necessity for love, intercessory prayer, witness and work.
A historical visit took us to Llandovery, where William Williams (Pantycelyn) was born 300 years ago. Our guide was Adrian Brake, the newly installed minister of Camarthen Evangelical Church. John Funnell and Steve Carter showed what a gracious work the Lord can do in a ‘day of small things’.
