Moorlands College was recognised in June for its meeting of rigorous national quality requirements for higher education, receiving a Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) Provisional Award.
Moorlands is the first independent theology college to opt into the scheme and is now in the formal government teaching excellence league table. The TEF was introduced as a way of informing students’ choices about what and where to study and to raise esteem for teaching. When discussing the recent results, Ian Kirby, Vice Principal (Academic) at Moorlands College, shared: ‘I’m really delighted to see that Moorlands College has taken the next step forward as a leading provider of theological training for Christian ministry.’
