Proclamation Zambia, a charity set up to mobilise resources for a new Bible College in Zambia called Proclamation Institute Zambia (PIZ), appointed Andrew Muwowo as Director of Ministry on 1 October.
Andrew, who will be UK based, will have the overall responsibility for developing and delivering the vision of PIZ, which seeks to assist the training of Zambians and others in the region to preach the Word. Two key objectives for the Director of Ministry are to raise the public profile of PIZ globally, and to mobilise adequate financial resources for the college, so that it can be self-sustaining as soon as possible.
In 2000 to 2001 Andrew did the Cornhill Training course on sabbatical, while he was pastor of Kitwe Chapel in Zambia. Andrew came to settle in the UK in 2003. He is serving as an elder at his local church, Union Chapel Bethersden.
