On 24 October, 10ofthose.com welcomed over 400 people for the opening of their new warehouse, conference room and shop in Leyland, Lancashire.
The morning was a celebratory affair with lots going on for all the family. There was face painting and story times for children, while authors including Stuart Ollyott, Karen Soole and Sam Durant were quizzed about their writing and reading by Roger Carswell. The shop was open for business, with lots of space to browse and flick through the thousands of titles on offer. Over £1,100 was raised for Yorkshire Camps – through the selling of ‘pre-loved’ books.
The atmosphere was one of fun, celebration and supportiveness as this gospel-minded company marked the continual growth that has characterised the eight years since they started. As Adrian Reynolds (Director of The Proclamation Trust) commented in his short address, 10ofthose continues to be concerned for God’s glory above all else and is doing an important job in getting gospel literature into the hands of many people.
