Christian disability charity ‘Through the Roof’ has found that many talented disabled people are eager to use their gifts to serve the church, and see disabled people not merely included but belonging and making their full contribution to the ministry of the church in the UK.

As such, they have produced a free new resource entitled All Of Us Complete In Christ to help churches fulfil Christ’s Great Commission to disabled people in Luke 14. 12-14.

Wealth of creativity

Last year ‘Through the Roof’ surveyed disabled people and parents of disabled children in the UK about their experience of church and are publishing their survey findings, together with a comprehensive index listing the many resources available to churches. They learned the main issues of which disabled people would like churches to be aware. They came across some great examples of good practice which would be an excellent model for all churches to follow. They also uncovered a wealth of creativity and spiritual maturity among disabled Christians who are eager to serve the body of Christ.
