A church plant in Scotland has taken out a six-month lease on a local shop to reach more of the community with the gospel.
Buckhaven Community Church (BCC) started meeting in January 2015 and since then three members of the community have come to faith in Christ.
Peter Carr, who leads the church, said: ‘We started meeting on Sunday afternoons in January with a café-style service in a windowless room of a run-down community hall in Buckhaven. We began with Billy Graham’s The Cross, followed by the seven week Christianity Explored course. This was to set the tone and intention of the new church: we weren’t interested in sheep rustling.
