On 9 May the 26th Scottish Reformed Conference (SRC) was held at Hamilton College.
Over 500 people attended from a wide range of churches. The speakers were Kevin De Young, who is the senior pastor at University Reformed Church in Michigan, and Steven Curry, who is the pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bangor. All three addresses were taken from Matthew 5 and, together, highlighted the depth, authority and perception of our Saviour’s teaching and work.
Getting younger
The age profile of the conference is getting younger. More young people are bringing their families along to hear the preaching of the Word and enjoy the fellowship of God’s people. The creche and children’s programme were full, and it was a real encouragement to see God working across the generations. Coffee and lunch times were occasions for good and wholesome Christian fellowship. Friendships were renewed and the sermons discussed and applied.
