ChristianAudio (CA) is the first website I’ve seen of its kind. It says that their goal is to exclusively provide high-quality faith-based audiobooks.
The list of available titles is frankly exhausting. I searched maybe 20 or so Christian authors that I have read, and every one returned with most, if not all, of their books available to buy.
You get a 30-day free trial which includes a free audiobook. After that, it is a $14.95 (£11.75) monthly fee which gets you 4 credits a month. However, books cost from 2 to 7 credits, so you may be able to buy two books, or have to wait two months to get a book that costs 5, 6 or 7 credits.
On a search of Audible (which is 1 credit per month for £7.99) some books were cheaper. However, you may prefer to give your money to a Christian organisation looking to promote Christian authors and content, even if it is more expensive.
As well as the credits, you receive ‘members only’ pricing on each book. Like Audible, you can cancel anytime without penalty and credits roll over if you don’t use any or all of them.
A mention-worthy feature of CA is the ‘book of the month’, which is offered for the very reasonable price of $0.99(£0.78). At the time of writing, it is Lead Like Christ by A.W. Tozer.
