I think this is a great book on Christian marriage. But I am pretty sure that some people won’t like it.
It is a great book, not because it says anything startlingly new, but because it is well-written and explains what Scripture has to say about marriage, courtship and singleness with lucidity, honesty, practicality and sensitivity to contemporary issues. Kathy’s chapter polishes up the much besmirched role of the husband as head of the family and is one of the best pieces I have read on the subject. Also the chapter on sex hoovers up much damaging secular misinformation and sets us to rights.
