THE DISHONESTY OF ATHEISM
By Roger Carswell
10 Publishing. 26 pages. £0.75 (or £5.00 for a pack of ten)
ISBN 978-1-90617-309-8

As a response to the rise of militant ‘in your face’ atheism, Roger Carswell has written this booklet which exposes the foolishness involved in declaring that there is no God.

Not too long ago John Lennon’s song ‘Imagine’, which serenades the idea of ‘no religion’, was voted Britain’s most popular song. By contrast, Roger explains that the wonders of creation point to God. Here, in particular, he uses scientist Sir Fred Holye’s calculation showing the impossibility of molecules like DNA coming together by pure chance. He also explains how the witness of conscience, the fulfilment of biblical prophecy, the resurrection of Christ and the changed lives of people who become Christians provide not only clear evidence for God’s existence, but also show God’s love in Christ for sinners.

Attractively produced, this is a timely book which will prove very helpful to any Christian taking Christ’s great commission seriously in Britain in 2010/11.
