The financial crisis the country is going through, along with many nations, has brought to light many deep-seated issues that people are experiencing. The fearful spectre of unemployment and house repossession is causing much fear and apprehension.

For those with such threats hanging over them, worry and anxiety are constant companions. The facts are clear today that the problem of crushing debt is such a burden as to be an immense concern that pressurises countless numbers of people. Yet these issues present tremendous opportunities for the church of the Lord Jesus Christ to show the love of Christ to the burdened and heavy laden.
