TEACHING ACTS
Unlocking the book of Acts for the Bible teacher
By David Cook. Christian Focus. 300 pages. £6.99
ISBN 978-1-84550-255-3

Dr. Lloyd-Jones said of the book of Acts, ‘Live in that book … it is the greatest tonic I know of in the realm of the Spirit’.

But it is not the easiest book to preach through, not least because of its lengthy narratives and because the kind of commentaries that help the average preacher or Bible study leader are not thick on the ground. So this book, part of a new series of titles handling different Bible books in a similar way and with a similar aim in view, is most welcome.
