Given the recent press coverage of the royal marriage, it was your reviewer’s intention to point out the best Christian websites about marriage; what it means, and how to ensure it reflects the true Royal marriage. But, alas, an extensive search proved fruitless.
Although there are a number of small personal sites dedicated to Christian marriage and some much drier ones, there is nothing particularly uplifting, original, or of wide appeal. This is dismaying, given that marriage is one of the few things that the church does well in the world’s eyes. People with no other experience of the church might feasibly consider turning to it for advice when faced with marital problems. All the sadder then that in cyberspace the world seems to have a monopoly on marriage.
But it is not all bad news, particularly for young people. A new Bible-centred, youth-orientated magazine — http://www.thelightmagazine.org — seeks to educate, inform and contribute the old gospel truths to the MTV-generation.
