The ability to share godly literature for free is perhaps one of the richest blessings that God affords to us through the internet.
The Christian Ethereal Library at http://www.ccel.org may well become pre-eminent in this service. Besides more recent classics, the library includes nearly every work by the church fathers of the first 800 years, known to be extant. Recent contributions are also broad ranging, and include works by John Owen, Gregory the Great, Daniel Defoe and G.K. Chesterton.
Continuing the theme of the authors of godly literature, there is something slightly odd about turning to the 'homepage' of a person who has long departed this world, but it seems that no saint of former ages is now found without one. Go to the Hall of Church History at http://www.spurgeon.org/phil~/hall.htm for links to sites such as http://www.jonathanedwards.com and http://www.johnbunyan.org.
