THROUGH THE BRITISH MUSEUM - WITH THE BIBLE
By Brian Edwards & Clive Anderson
Day One. 128 pages. £9.99
ISBN 1 903087 54 6

This is a book worth having! The reviewer has taken a number of parties around the sections of the British Museum covered by this book and I can confirm that this is a valuable guide. In fact, the BM has agreed to sell it in their bookshop.

The guide directs you round the relevant rooms to identify archaeological items that clarify or illustrate the Bible text. It is generously illustrated with colour figures, tables and maps. It is readable as a book in its own right, but it is most helpful in planning and then in visiting the museum.
