Muslim women make up one-tenth of the world population today. They are often given a distorted view of Christian women and what they believe, and sadly many Christians are just as confused and mistaken in their understanding of Moslem women.

As a worldwide religion spanning a large number of world cultures, Islam, like Christianity, inevitably includes a wide spectrum of followers from rich and poor, educated and illiterate, city and rural. As our two worlds mix increasingly, we need a better understanding to bridge the cultural and religious gulf which separates us. Paul tackled this in his world. Can we do less?
