LETTERS TO A STUDENT
By Donald J. Drew
Christian Focus. 192 pages
ISBN 1 85792 866 0

Having always been a little wary of books addressed directly to 'students' (one starts to tire of the 'student' label after only a term at university), I was deeply encouraged by Drew's concern for Christian students to take seriously the problems and issues that face us today.

Here, Donald has written letters from an older friend to a student, encouraging him to stay close to Christ during his time at university. He addresses many of the issues which confront the Christian student: friendships, temptation, Christian Unions, the authority of Scripture, postmodernism and evangelism, to name but a few.
